- Handbook on the composition of documents for the chancellery. For this purpose, the
text deals with chancellery rules, constitutional law, and the administration and
transportation of the Mamluk Empire.
ff. 162a-164a are written by another hand than the rest of the text

a number of verses, among others composed by Abū al-Qāsim ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAbdallāh ibn Aḥmad al-Suhaylī al-Khaṯʿamī (d. 581/1185; GAL I/413 S I/733-734; Kaḥḥālah V/147; Ziriklī III/313) and Shihāb al-Dīn al-ʿAṭṭār.

marthiyya on the arabised Berber dynasty of the Afṭasids, which ruled from 413/1022 – 487/1095 over the petty kingdom of Badajoz in al-Andalus ((EI2 I/242), written by Abū Muḥammad ʿAbd al-Majīd ibn ʿAbdallāh Ibn ʿAbdūn al-Yāburī al-Fihrī (d. 527/1133 or 529/1134; GAL I/271 S I/480; Kaḥḥālah VI/168-169; Ziriklī IV/149); Muṣṭafā ibn Muḥibb al-Dīn copied the elegy in Rajab 1021/August-September 1612.
f. 167b:
Biography of Faḍl Allāh al-ʿUmarī, takne from den Nujūm al-zāhira written by Ibn Taghrī-Birdī. The text has been copied by Muṣṭafā ibn Muḥibb al-Dīn in Rajab 1021/August-September 1612, too.
