  • Commentary on Minhāj al-ṭālibīn fī al-furūʿ, a work on the Shāfiʿī legal system by Muḥyī al-Dīn Abū Zakarīyā Yaḥyá ibn Sharaf ibn Murī al-Nawawī al-Shāfiʿī (d. 676/1277; GAL I/394-397, 424 S I/680-686, 753; Der Islam 22 (1935) 165-190; Kaḥḥālah XIII/202; Ziriklī VIII/149-150).
    f. 1 has been amended by a younger hand. Here, the author of the work is wrongly listed as Majd al-Dīn Abū al-Ṭāhir Muḥammad ibn Yaʿqūb ibn Muḥammad ibn Ibrāhīm al-Shīrāzī al-Fīrūzābādī (d. 817/1415; EI2 II/926-927; GAL II/181-183 S II/234-236; Kaḥḥālah XII/118-119; Ziriklī VII/146-147). There also are differences in the additions to the beginning of the text in other copies of the commentary, cf. e.g. Gotha (Pertsch) no. 966.

  • Brown Oriental leather binding with fore-edge flap and envelope flap; central ornament of the covers: circle filled with two overlapping triangles, a hexagon in the middle of the star, the margins are filled with rosette stamps, toward the edges three-leaved blossoms with ornamental rays; two rosette stamps with ornamental rays below each bevelled corner; frame consists of a band of trefoil on double stems and a line pattern; a diamond located toward the tip of the envelope flap consisting of fleuron stamps with ornamental rays; fore-edge flap decorated with geometric figures which are partly filled with rosette stamps, partly with fleuron stamps; doublure of the front cover made of paper, the doublure of the fore-edge flap of leather; doublures of the back cover and the envelope flap are partly made of paper and partly made of leather
