It is a readaptation of Zā'irajāt al-shuhūr fī iẓhār al-umūr written by Shams al-Dīn Abū al-ʿAbbās Muḥammad (Aḥmad) ibn Masʿūd al-Khazrajī al-Sabtī (d. 698/1298-1299?; GAL S I/909-910; Kaḥḥālah X/18).
