  None of these notes is dated, Yet none of the books he owned is younger than around 1150. Furthermore, Berlin Sprenger 1812 went from his ownership to that of Ṣāliḥ al-Ghazzī (1138-1187; see Murādī: Silk I, pp. 214-216). A teaching license by Muḥammad Amīn al-Kurdī is preserved in the thabat, completed in 1154, by Aḥmad b. ʿAlī al-ʿUthmānī al-Ṭarābulusī (1089-1172; Berlin Wetzstein II 411 = Ahlwahrdt 270).
