| Description | Namrūd hat den Propheten Ibrāhīm (Abraham) belagert und will ihn auf Anraten des Iblīs verbrennen. Gott schafft aber einen Thron, auf dem Ibrāhīm - auf dem Bild jung, ohne Bart - in Sicherheit sitzt. Ein Engel steht ihm zur Seite, Blumen und ein Wasserlauf umgeben ihn, während ringsum Flammen lodern. Rechts im Bild ein Turm, von dem ein König (Namrūd?) erstaunt heruntersieht. Antithetische Komposition. Harmonie von Dunkelgrün, Rosa, Blau und Lila-Grau. |
